Darfur

After the Holocaust, the world declared that 'never again' would there be genocide. But, genocide still exists today in Darfur, Sudan. Already, over 400,000 innocent civilians of Darfur have been killed, and over 2.5 million people have been displaced. And the genocide is still going on now, so even more lives are going to be lost. I think that the Sudanese government is the main blame, because they are paying Janjaweed, an army composed of Arabs from around Darfur, to kill these civilians. Also, all other countries of the world are to blame, because we are all only watching the genocide happen, and no one is stepping in to help these civilians or stop the killing.

I really tried hard to insert this image, honest, but my computer just isn't being cooperative and has some "cookie" business going on. So please, feel free to click the link to see the picture.

Reflection: The past 2 weeks have been pretty good, thanksgiving break was a lot of fun and and it was wooonderful to have a small break from school. Finals are coming up very soon, and I am...so very terrified. Especially of geometry. Who invented math anyways? Well, who ever it is, they are not on the claire-approved list. I also have my whooole literary review for science fair due friday, which I am yet to begin, so that should be just bundles of fun.
