If I could pick one place in the world to travel outside of the United States, it would be India. I feel like we really went into depth when studying India, and the information I learned triggered my curiosity as to what it's really like to live there. I learned that the dominant religion is Hinduism, and we learned all about the caste system and arranged marriages. I can't even begin to imagine what life would be like without the freedoms that Americans have today. I think it would be an amazing cultural experience to be thrown into an Indian lifestyle for a while, and get a real feel of how they live. I would also really like to visit the country's landmarks and beautiful sites, like the Taj Mahal and the Golden temple. I would also really like to help out in the impoverish slums of India. I think it would be quite a culture shock, but a valuable opportunity to get involved and help the nation prosper.

Reflection: The past two weeks have been pretty average. We went on the biology field trip a few days ago which was actually a lot of fun (minus the 23 page packet we had to fill out..agony) I had a soccer tournament last weekend and my team won! We are now the Western District Champions, and get to move on to the State tournament in San Antonio this weekend...impressive, I know. Hm..what else, what else. Well you know what? School is pretty much a pit. I hate it. I can not wait for it to be over. Sorry, that needed to be said. And now, here is a video that I love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA. I will marry him..someday. That is all.
